چکیده

Abstract Nonlinear constitutive equations are proposed to model variations in flow stress as a function of strain rate and temperature during hot deformation. Modified applied seventy data sets about deformation alloys. Two modifications conventional models introduced, viz. (1) nonlinear (2) multivariate with the fitting simultaneously two variables. The predictive accuracy was evaluated using three statistical parameters compared Arrhenius-like model. It is shown that have improved for advantages include less computation material constants independent or rate. In another type model, expressed linear polynomial functions Zener-Holloman parameter. This approach gives single value activation energy results indicated generalized second-order equation can be used better predict stress, temperature,

A comparative study on constitutive modeling of hot deformation flow curves in AZ91 magnesium alloy

Modeling the flow curves of materials at elevated temperatures is the first step in mathematical simulation of the hot deformation processes of them. In this work a comparative study was provided to examine the capability of three different constitutive equations in modeling the hot deformation flow curves of AZ91 magnesium alloy. For this, the Arrhenius equation with strain dependent constants...

Constitutive Equation and Hot Compression Deformation Behavior of Homogenized Al–7.5Zn–1.5Mg–0.2Cu–0.2Zr Alloy

The deformation behavior of homogenized Al-7.5Zn-1.5Mg-0.2Cu-0.2Zr alloy has been studied by a set of isothermal hot compression tests, which were carried out over the temperature ranging from 350 °C to 450 °C and the strain rate ranging from 0.001 s-1 to 10 s-1 on Gleeble-3500 thermal simulation machine. The associated microstructure was studied using electron back scattered diffraction (EBSD)...

Constitutive Equations for Capillary Tube Modeling

This paper presents the results of an experimental study on capillary tubes commonly used as expansion device in household refrigerators and freezers. The experiments were performed with HFC-134a at different condensing pressures and level of subcooling. The pressure and temperature profiles along the capillary tubes were measured in each test run. The data set was then used to evaluate the sui...

Hot Deformation Behavior and a Two-Stage Constitutive Model of 20Mn5 Solid Steel Ingot during Hot Compression

20Mn5 steel is widely used in the manufacture of heavy hydro-generator shaft forging due to its strength, toughness, and wear resistance. However, the hot deformation and recrystallization behaviors of 20Mn5 steel compressed under a high temperature were not studied. For this article, hot compression experiments under temperatures of 850-1200 °C and strain rates of 0.01 s-1-1 s-1 were conducted...

Deformation Characteristic and Constitutive Modeling of 2707 Hyper Duplex Stainless Steel under Hot Compression

Hot deformation behavior and microstructure evolution of 2707 hyper duplex stainless steel (HDSS) were investigated through hot compression tests in the temperature range of 900–1250 ◦C and strain rate range of 0.01–10 s−1. The results showed that the flow behavior strongly depended on strain rate and temperature, and flow stress increased with increasing strain rate and decreasing temperature....
